MSH series mechanical storage hoppers are intended for storage and distribution of abrasive media for 1-12 abrasive blasting units. The hopper is manufactured with bulk capacity from 3.5 to 56 m3.
Depending on the number of blasting units used, the hopper is fitted with pneumatic rotating shutters that are connected via remote control and sensors to the blasting equipment. The storage hopper is loaded with the help of lifting devices.
MSH mechanical storage hoppers are designed for operating with steel shot/steel grit as abrasive media but it can also be used with alternative abrasive media.
The free space underneath the storage hopper outlets is 1600 mm that is sufficient for blasting units installation. The storage hopper outlets can be closed manually while carrying out maintenance and repair work of blasting units.
The mechanical transport system MECHTRANS-2 provides an example of integrated use of the mechanical storage hopper MSH-5/2.
