In industrial conditions, the collection, transportation and recuperation (purification) of any abrasive media is carried out by two types of systems: vacuum transport systems and mechanical transport systems.

In the COMPLEXA-V series vacuum transport systems, the air discharged by the vacuum pump moves the abrasive, i.e. abrasive media along with dust, dross, metal particles, dirt and debris is sucked out of the floor funnel and moved into the vacuum storage hopper. In the vacuum storage hopper abrasives are retained (dimensions of the retained particles can be adjusted), debris is deposited on a special grid, which can be easily cleaned. Clean abrasive media returns to the blasting machine and is ready to be used again whereas the air, which has passed the initial cleaning, moves together with dust and dirt into dust separation cyclone. Large dust accumulated in the dust separation cyclone is removed through the cone-shaped exit at the bottom, and the fine dust moves with the airflow into the suction unit, where it is finally cleaned with the built-in filter.

An example of a vacuum transport system is a COMPLEXA-V-220 model, designed for the “normal dust” conditions.
